Hot Back to School Hair Styles
Short Hair
If you are looking for a cut that is stylish and easy to maintain then a short hair style is a perfect fit. A short cut will highlight you facial features more than any other cut. If you have striking features this is an excellent choice. A pixie cut is short all over and can look great with almost no work. Simply wash your hair and then let it air dry, which shouldn’t take long because of the length. If you want a little more style you can finger comb styling mousse throughout to make it spike around your face.

Shoulder Length Hair
Shoulder length hair is great for people who are not quite ready to make the leap into a short cut but who want more versatility than long hair provides. A shoulder length bob is the perfect back to school cut because of its versatility. Many people want to put layers in shoulder length hair to give it more bounce. However, by choosing a bob your hair makes a more dramatic statement and is just as versatile. With the bob you can let it air dry and run some curl enhancer through it to give it a tousled beach look if you want a casual style. If you want something a bit more polished you can use a flat iron to straighten your hair. If you want something more extravagant you can curl it for a halo of ringlets. The possibilities are endless for this classic bob.

Long Hair
Long hair is a very stylish and youthful choice. If you have extremely long hair it is best to get layers cut into it to keep it from becoming to lifeless. With moderate layers throughout you will ensure your hair always looks full. There are quite a few options to consider when you have long layered hair but most take a bit of time and effort. One easy style is the low double ponytail. Part your hair in the middle and comb it smooth to either side just below the ear. Pull hair into a ponytail and brush ends. This shows off your hair while keeping it manageable.

Wedding Hairstyles Beach Bride
Check out the latest wedding hairstyles, and find one that fits you beautifully. Do your own 'do with Lori's how-to tips and fabulous hair accessories designed to help you create a wedding hairstyle just for you.
Beach breezes call for a soft, relaxed wedding hairstyle that looks casual, yet polished.
This style is particularly nice in the ocean breeze or in humid conditions because you don't need to maintain sleek, straight hair.Catch the Wave
To create the updo, Lori pulled the sides of the hair back in tiny sections, gently twisting each piece and then pinning into place with a bobby pin.
If you find the bun isn't as full as you'd like or your hair is not quite long enough, Hair Extensions are a great way to add body and length.Finishing Touch
Because this's created look for a beach wedding she used the Soiree Silk Flower Clip next to the bun in back.

Wedding Hairstyles Boho Chic
Check out the latest wedding hairstyles, and find one that fits you beautifully. Do your own 'do with Lori's how-to tips and fabulous hair accessories designed to help you create a wedding hairstyle just for you.
If perfectly polished is not your style, these loose curls may be just the thing to show off your relaxed attitude.
So many brides are requesting their hair worn down these days, and Lori created this style with a relaxed, bohemian style in mind.
Finished with a funky, sparkling comb the look is anything but traditional.
Hair Type
Long, straight or wavy hair will work well for this style. If you have short or thin hair, Lori often uses extensions. The Custom 18" Hair Extension Set or the Custom 14" Hair Extension Set are dyed to match your own hair and can be placed in the front, back or sides of your head - wherever you need fullness and length.
Body and Texture
The idea is to give the hair an unstructured, tousled look. Our model, Haleigh has fairly straight hair so Lori used a large barrel curling iron all over her head to form ringlets.
Lori then went back through the hair with a crimping iron here and there. Crimping irons are now available with larger waves and the effect is much more natural than the blown out 'dos of the 1980's!Tease and Twist
Next, Lori teased the hair at the crown for some height and fullness. She smoothed the top layer of hair over the teased portion, but used a light hand to maintain some texture.
The top and sides were then gently pulled back, twisted and loosely fastened with bobby pins.

Wedding Hairstyles Romantic Look
Check out the latest wedding hairstyles, and find one that fits you beautifully. Do your own 'do with Lori's how-to tips and fabulous hair accessories designed to help you create a wedding hairstyle just for you.
Softly swept back into a pin-curled chignon, this wedding hairstyle all about softness and romance.
Lori created this look to be a bit unstructured and easy on the drama. It pairs well with a romantic gown, and accessories that incorporate lace or silk.
Are You the Type?
This style works best with fine to medium-thick, curly or straight and your hair should be at least shoulder length to create the full bun.
If your hair falls above your shoulders but you can still pull it into a high ponytail, you can use a hair piece like our Mini-Fall Hair Extension. Simply put your own hair into a tight bun, attach the hair piece over it and continue styling.
Part and Ponytail
Our model had a natural part that is just slighly off center, but this style works with a side part as well.
Next, Simply pulls the hair back and pins it right about where you'd wear a high ponytail and uses a medium size curling iron on the ends of the hair. The last step is to softly pin the curls into a bun.
Secret Styling Tip
When pulling the hair back, do so gently. The front and sides should have a relaxed and easy look, not tight and sleek.
Romance or Drama
To complement the soft, romantic hairstyle, Lori placed two Silk Flower Hair Clips along the side of the updo. A small crystal tiara like the Eve Tiara Comb placed at the crown would give you a little more drama.

Wedding Hairstyles Vintage Wave
A chin length bob, sassy bangs and an art deco hair clip put a modern spin on vintage style.
In the 1920's "flappers" were the gals with all the style. This is Lori's interpretation of that sassy flapper look and high-spirited attitude.Pair it with lipstick in a daring shade of red or pink!
Look at Length
A chin length, or longer bob is a great length for this style. Our model, Haleigh has longer hair and so Lori simply pinned the excess hair up underneath to create the illusion of a bob cut.
Art Deco Accessories
After sweeping Haleigh's bangs to the side. Used the Bellezza Crystal Mini Barrette to accessorize. If you have longer bangs or no bangs at all simply sweep your hair over your forehead for the same effect. The delicate Coeur de Crystal Necklace is a nice complement.
Tools of the Wave
Used a special hot iron to create this effect. A wave iron looks like a straightening tool but has ridges that form the waves with heat.If you have curly or wavy hair, you'll need to blow dry or iron your hair straight before using the wave iron.
Highlights
No matter what your hair color, consider adding some highlights about three weeks before your wedding date.Haleigh has subtle reddish highlights in her brunette hair which add contrast to the style and give an added glow to her skin tone.

Wedding Hairstyles Traditional
This wedding hairstyle has a classic, romantic look thanks to soft ringlets studded with pearl hairpins. When a bride describes her look as "romantic", "fairytale" or "traditional", Lori suggests this updo as a nice way to complement a classic gown and accessories. This style is great for brides with naturally curly hair, but a curling iron can create the same effect for straight hair.
Consider Extensions
In order to get this tall, full updo your hair should be at, or beyond your shoulders. If your hair isn't long enough, ModelBride's Mini Fall Hair Extension is a one-piece extension that's great for creating an updo.

Wedding Hairstyle: Be Fashionable With Your Hair
A perfect wedding hairstyle can make your face more attractive and at the same time gratifying the vanity as well of your wedding dress and your headdress. It should go well with your character and individuality while emphasizing your best facial appearance and hiding your flaws. Here are some ideas for diverse kinds of style.
Hair brushed off or swept back illustrates more of your façade and contour. This style can be particularly fine for formal, proper or evening ceremonials. A wedding up do will emphasize your neck. This impression can vary from an effortless French twist to a fashionable and chic mass of curls. Hair worn down has a more informal and relaxed look, ideal for daytime, outdoor, sporty and casual weddings.
If you have long hair and it is brushed away or pulled back most of the time, then a stylish and graceful up do would be the look. Bring together or combine fine points from your wedding gown to your hairstyle. Details like interweaving or parody of fabrics can be an exact copy for your hair design or look. If you are always wearing your hair down then it is time to show off your beautiful face by putting your hair up and leaving the rest to fall around your shoulders. Let a few strands of your hair leak away to move freely around your face. They can be left unnatural or curled. Having it all down is just too informal for your wedding day. Long hair can be worn back, ponytailed or twisted with beading or fabric that goes with your gown.
If you have medium hair length then it can be twisted and worn with a crown like headdress or a glittery headband to spice it up. Or to make it simple and natural just place or insert some hair behind your ears and use hair clips with designs to hold back your hair. If your hairdresser is really good and brilliant then your hair can be worn up if you really want to. If you always wanted your hair up during your wedding day then do not have you hair cut and let it grow. Medium hair length is as adaptable or versatile as long. It can be twisted, placed behind your ears, straightened and swept loosely down
There are also a lot of styles to be done with short hair. Use your curling iron for the back portion of your head to five your hair more body and fullness. If you have baby hair or bangs then it is better if you sweep it off to the side and do not curl it because it will make you look really different. If you are planning to have your hair curled touch it when it is cooled down and not when it is still warm so that the curls won't be loose. Place also hair wax to create texture and to keep your hair in place. Short hair can be from smooth and glossy style to wavy and curly. A headdress or tiara, ornamental bobby pins, combs and hair clips all look spectacular and dramatic worn with short hair.
Bangs can be worn in several ways: soft, edgy, angled or slant, and with consistency. If you have them ever since then do not brush them aside and expose your forehead.
Modern styles are the key but should be secondary for what's more important is what really looks good on you. What is "in" may not fit with your gown. Whatever is your choice on the hairstyle, practice on your make-up or have a test make-up conducted a week prior to your wedding. Do this and you will have an incredible and astonishing wedding look.

Hair With A Bang Is A New Hair Trend
The claim to fame of this genre is based as much on the technical advances of the film industry as the celebrity adoration that have sprung up in America. What this translates into is the emergence of the beauty industry as an established player in the beauty, glamor, and fashion market of the world. With an image conscious consumer the hair styles capture the spirit of the American women. The adventure of the American women is increasingly expressed though her look, with hair being a key component.
The fashion-oriented women know the strength of her image. The best way to express this seems to be by hair and its styling. Several new hairstyles have been launched in the past few years. The icons for these hairstyles happen to be celebrities. Most of the styles have featured bangs. The choice of the type bang is usually based on features of the hair that is displaying the bangs. The first step in providing a new hairstyle is in assessing the texture of the hair.
The optimum salon experience is one that improves and renews the strength, moisture and elasticity to the hair while providing a versatile style. This is where the hair cuts with bangs show its form. Hairstyles with bangs are usually the most versatile. Hair textures vary and this is why hair bangs are customized.
The asymmetrical bangs with slight flipped ends are one that looks good on many women. The lightly side swept bangs are great for festive evenings as well as daytime jaunts. These two types work with a few different textures. Fine hair and medium textured hair usually work well with these styled bangs. Wispy hair bangs work to give a soft look to a short or long hairstyle. Blunt cut bangs are usually worn with a straight hairstyle.
Bangs add spice and draw attention to a person by giving them a totally different look. Testing a new style is not something you decide on in the spur of the moment. In advance of going to your stylist you research the styles and trends. That means looking through a lot of magazines. It is important to take into account the natural texture of your hair before choosing a new style. Now you are ready to put yourself into the hands of a professional stylist.
Now you are on your way to fabulous cut and new look. The reason I like an upscale beauty salon is that they are not in a time warp. They are usually on top of the trend setting styles. When they hire stylist they are quite picky and want good credentials and quite a bit of experience. So your new bangs will not be a throw back to the beginning of the motion picture industries first screen beauties. Hairstyles with bangs have moved into the twenty first century. A haircut with bangs can ensure you a different look

Healthy Hair Is Not For Everyone!
Hair grows in cycles and these cycles cause the hair to fall after about a 6 year growth cycle. This means that there are six healthy years of growth where the proper nutrition can help with the hair. So what is the proper nutrition for hair. You should be sure to start with amino acids and then with the b vitamins. Amino acids make up protein structures, which in turn make up the hair structure. So if you want healthier hair then the first component is the amino acid combination that you can feed the hair through the body or through the hair topically. This means that vitamins that are taken by mouth that are loaded with amino acids work very well as well as those that are applied directly to the hair. You can find vitamin shampoos and conditioners that have these amino acid combinations in them. They are very similar to most salon grade shampoos that leave hair very moisturized and ready for styling. If you are wanting something that acts like the name brands like Redken but has the amino acids that you need for healthy hair then try Healthy Hair Plus brand of products as we have a vitamin shampoo that uses over 20 different amino acids that are loaded into the shampoo. The shampoo also has herbal extracts in combination, which builds volume into the hair as well.
Another important aspect of healthy hair are the entire b group of vitamins and finding these in shampoos can be a vital component of getting your hair healthy again. These b vitamins are important for structuring the hair protein chains and this gets hair back into the process of growing healthy hair. We suggest that you search high and low for shampoos that are loaded with vitamins but you will have a hard time finding your grocery store and even salon grade shampoos that have the b group of vitamins. You will find that most grocery store shampoos are simply the surfactant, fragrance and a little bit of herbal extract. While they smell pretty they are simply stripping hair of vital nutrition that hair is desperate need of to get healthy again. While you may search for these shampoo and conditioners you will find that they are indeed worth it.
There is a process to healthy hair but if you pay attention to the correct listing of ingredients in products you will find that most products on the market do nothing for creating the health of your hair instead they strip it of vital components that hair is shouting for to keep it healthy. So here is exactly what you are not looking for in shampoos. Stay away from Sodium Laurel Sulfate. In our opinion sodium laureth sulfate is ok but laurel sulfate and ammonium laureth or laurel are both bad so we suggest staying away from them both. Sodium olefin and sodium laureth are not as bad as the others. You will also want to stay away from mineral oils and pertolatums on the scalp as well as drying alcohol that can be found in hair gels. It is almost impossible to stay away from alcohols in hair sprays. As matter of fact, unless you are using a pump hair spray then you will not be able to stay away from alcohol.

Understanding My Hair
The majority of the hair is in anagen at any one time. Following anagen, cell division ceases in the hair bulb and involution (catagen) occurs. The hair follicle regresses and the hair shaft becomes shortened and club shaped. Catagen lasts a few weeks and is followed by telogen during which hair is shed for about 3 months. The hair cell cycle is one of the most active in the body and is very susceptible to external influences.
The most widely held misconception concerning hair is that is alive, and, therefore, its condition can be 'permanently' altered by using some newly discovered commercial potion. The truth is that hair is only living matter at its base below the surface of the scalp. Like the tip of one's finger nail, hair is dead matter, and can be clipped shorter and discarded. This fact alone brings us to two important conclusions about how one may maintain stronger, healthier looking, shiny hair.
Now, how do we ensure this quality protein gets to the living roots of our hair? Just as we stimulate quality muscle growth through exercising and bringing protein-laden blood to specific body parts, we can do the same for our hair. This is easily achieved by simply massaging your scalp, once a day, while you shampoo and condition your hair. You'll not only have cleaner and more thoroughly conditioned hair, but you will have stimulated protein-supplying blood to feed the germinating roots of your hair.
This brings us to several fallacies concerning the shampoo and conditioning of hair. One of which is that a shampoo alone can increase the overall health of the hair. Shampoo, no matter what exotic or expensive ingredients are added to it, is designed to perform one single task - to cleanse the hair of excessive sebum (natural oils), body sweat and environmental impurities. It is a scientific contradiction that cleansing the hair alone will keep it healthy, once you have stripped it of all of its natural protective properties, like sebum.
The longer your hair is, the less the chance is that these natural hair oils will reach the mid-shaft to ends of your hair with daily shampooing. This leaves the older and more vulnerable sections of the hairshaft exposed to further damage from heated styling appliances and chemical processes, such coloring or permanent waving.

Understanding Thyroid Hair Loss
Before starting the treatment plan for your thyroid hair loss, the following key points should be taken into consideration such as evaluation by a dermatologist, to find out if there is are nutritional deficiencies, making sure that it may not be of the side effect of the thyroid drug, adherent to alternative therapies and last but not least rule out the possibility of thyroid rug side effect.
Find out more about Thinning Hair Although there are three types of hair loss such as thyroid hair loss, autoimmune alopecia, and male pattern hair loss. Thyroid hair loss can occur both in hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. When suffering from thyroid hair loss, you'll often find more hair in the shower, in drains and in hairbrushes with absence of specific hair less patches. Thyroid hair loss is noticeable among some people even after starting the treatment especially in Synthroid medication.
Synthroid is useful in hypothyroidism but it produces thyroid hair loss as its side effect for some people and this is not known by some of the medical professionals also. So make sure that hair falling is not due to Synthroid. Thyroid hair loss can also occur if your condition is under treated. TSH of around 1-2 is optimal for a large number of people who are suffering from hypothyroidism with no hair falling. Alternative therapy such as evening primrose oil is found to be highly useful in correcting thyroid hair loss. Aromatherapy is also found to be extremely effective. Essential oils of thyme, cedar wood oil, lavender, and rosemary mixed altogether and applied on the hair will help to stimulate hair growth.
The thyroid hair loss can also be corrected by using Ayurveda medicines such as Bhingaraj oil or brahmi oil. Both oils should be applied to the scalp without disruption for at least 3 months for hair growth stimulation. In addition to this the ayurvedic herbs amla and ashwagandha will also help stimulating hair growth.
The final treatment for thyroid hair loss is hair transplantation if there is serious illness. Small plugs of hair are removed from the back or side of the scalp and implanted to areas of the scalp with little or no hair. The effect can be seen after several months. Tissue expansion is another procedure that helps to treat thyroid hair loss. In this type, a small empty sac is slot into the skin. The sac is filled up with saline water for a course of time. Automatically, the skin begins to rejuvenate to give bulging appearance. This new skin with hair follicles is placed over the adjacent bald patches.

The process is not painful and the best thing is that it is permanent. Imagine just a few visits to the specialists and you are free of the unwanted hair. So the next time you go out you need not worry about those hair removing creams, razors or hot wax.
HAIR GROWTH
Hair is important for every woman but on the other hand every woman wants to get rid of the unwanted hair growth. Basically the hair grows inside a hair bulb deep in the hair follicle. Follicle may be a small part, but for most of the people it hardly stops growing throughout their life. There are three stages of hair growth which are:
- Anagen (the growing phrase)
- catagen (the intermediate phrase)
- Telogen (the shedding phrase)
Anagen: This phrase is also called the growing phrase. In this period the hair follicle grows to about 6 inches in a year. The hair follicles that of eyelashes, arms and legs have a growing stage of only few months, so the hair they produce are short.
Catagen: This is also called the transitional stage, in which the hair follicle becomes smaller as the lower portions of the follicle are absorbed by the body, and ceases to make hair.
Telogen: This is also called the resting stage. After two to three months of resting the hair starts falling. At the end of the resting stage, the old hair falls out, the follicle enlarges, and a new growth cycle starts and a new hair shaft begins to grow.

Top Five Hair Loss Cure Facts
Fact #1: Androgenetic alopecia is the most common form of hair loss.
Once and for all, it has been determined that 95% of hair loss cases that need treatment are caused by genes and hormones. Some individuals are born with a genetic sensitivity to the hormone DHT that causes hair loss. DHT is present in both men and women in varying amounts. It binds itself to the receptors in the hair follicles and causes the follicles to shrink. Existing hair will therefore fall out and new hair will be unable to replace whatever is lost. It is because of this main cause of this that a cure could either focus on blocking DHT or nourishing the scalp and hair.
Fact #2: There are other causes of hair loss.
In rare cases, there could be other possible causes of hair loss, each of which may require a different treatment. Some serious disorders and diseases such as anemia, diabetes and autoimmune disorders could lead to some degree of hair loss. People who also experience extreme physical or emotional stress may also experience temporary hair loss.
Fact #3: There are medical hair loss cure options.
Individuals suffering from androgenetic alopecia may benefit from some medicines and medical procedures for hair loss. So far, there are two hair loss medicines approved for hair loss for men and one for women. As some would know though, these medicines usually take time to take effect and may not always provide overly dramatic results. Some also say that there are minor side effects.
Another option would be to go for surgery. This option is believed to be the most effective. It is however, quite expensive. Common sense would say that surgical methods also naturally have their own risks of side effects.
Fact #4: There are good hair loss products but there are also scams.
If you are not too enthusiastic over medical options, then you can always go for natural choices. You should be careful though. Although there are really effective natural blockers and nourishing products, there are also a handful of scam products from manufacturers who are only after ripping consumers off of their hard earned cash. The products that you should be most wary of are those that promise miracle cures.
Before you settle for any natural product, perform your own product and ingredient research. Make sure too to do a thorough product site and content review.
Fact #5: It still makes sense to take care of temporary causes.
A genetic predisposition to hair loss may be difficult to prevent. In this case, nutritional nourishment may not always provide complete hair loss cure. The hair however is still very much a part of our bodies. It still therefore makes a lot of sense to take care of it through proper nutrition, exercise and good habits. Maintain a good diet rich in complex carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables. To ensure that the nutrients reach your scalp and hair, do regular aerobic exercises to help improve blood flow.

6 Easy Tips To Beautiful, Healthy Hair
Nothing looks more beautiful than a head of full, sleek, and shiny hair. All women want their hair to fall like liquid silk, and while the “results” seen in hair-care commercials may be a bit too perfect to be real, there are numerous things you can do to improve the health and beauty of the hair you have. Here we’ll talk about six things you can do to keep your hair looking and feeling its best.
1. Wet hair is far weaker than dry hair, so make sure that when you’re trying to detangle it, never use a hairbrush or treat it too roughly. Being overly rough with wet hair can lead to a lot of breakage, so use a good leave in conditioner and comb it out with a wide-tooth comb. This will help to drastically minimize damage done to your hair while it is wet.
2. Everyone knows that using a blow dryer on your hair is a great way to damage it. Unfortunately though, the ease and convenience it brings not only time-wise, but for styling makes it a necessity to have. To minimize the damage it does though, use the “cool” setting, and make sure not to dry your hair completely. Leave a little bit of moisture in your lovely locks.
3. Everyone knows that a head full of shiny hair is just gorgeous. Unfortunately, the simple build up of hair care products and normal, day-to-day living can dull your hair out and take away that glamour. To combat this, use an apple cider vinegar rinse on your hair about once a week. Simply mix roughly one or two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with about four cups of water, and then pour it over your hair. This is a great way pull away all that residue that’s been dulling your hair, letting your natural color and shine come out. It gets rid of grime, and is completely natural. It doesn’t smell that great when you put it on your hair in the shower, but after you’ve dried your hair, the smell will be gone and nothing but pure shine will remain.
4. Contrary to what a lot of products say, there is no way to seal or fix split ends. If you notice any split ends on your hair, go in and get them trimmed off. Keeping split ends can result in the split gradually moving up the hair shaft, making your hair look and feel very damaged. Even if you’re growing your hair out, it’s a good idea to go in and get your ends trimmed every so often to keep it looking its best.
5. Make sure to put a deep moisturizing treatment upon your hair once a week. You can find these at any drug store, but homemade ones are natural and fun. They’re almost always made with things you’d find around your kitchen, making them easy to put together as well. Do a quick search to find any number of recipes online, so you can find one that fits your hair type as well.
6. Another important concept that can make a big difference in the appearance eof your hair is that it’s just as important to take care of it from the inside. The healthier you are, the healthier and more naturally beautiful your hair will be, and there are a few vitamins that can be added to your diet to boost the health and appearance of your hair. Vitamin B6 can actually prevent hair loss, and it also produces melanin, which will help keep your hair color more naturally rich and vibrant. Vitamin A and Vitamin C have strong antioxidants that will go a long way to improve the overall health of your hair, and Vitamin E can help promote circulation of the blood through your scalp, giving your hair a more plentiful source of nutrients.
When it comes to beautiful hair, nothing is more important than making sure it is strong and healthy. No matter what your hair color or type is, if you limit the amount of damage you inflict upon it and promote natural health, you’ll see a drastic improvement in shine, color, and overall brilliance.
